Erie Basin

This is my favorite online shop and the blog has even more inspiring things!

A few of my top favorites over the past few months:

As soon as the weather is a bit nicer I am taking a day trip out to her shop in Red Hook!

From My Heart

My very dear friends The Maldives have just released their new album "Listen to the Thunder." I am so proud of them they are all so talented! Amazing when you put all nine of them in a band together!

Jason was asked this question and I think it says it all:
"What people should expect when The Maldives take the stage - Faces melted, hearts broken. They should not expect to be "twanged."

Here is a great little article about them that includes the entire album for your listen enjoyment! Please enjoy!

Amazing boys, love and miss you!

Hello Old Friends

It has been sometime since I last blogged, but I have been so busy!

The next issue of Working Class Magazine is up and running! Please check it out! There are some great articles and amazing photos! I art directed and styled on two of the shoots and had such a good time! I am proud of everyone and all their hard work, this issue is amazing!

Some of my favorite images from the issue:

Wranglers always remind me of Seattle... and everything else they are doing here too!
Her illustrations are amazing!

My favorite shot from our Girl with Flowers shoot.

Please join us for the launch party if you are in NY, this Sunday the 6th at 200 Orchard!

Little Blurb!

During last weeks Fashion Night Out I was interviewed by a writer from Brokelyn.com at the store Charlie & Sam. She asked me lots of questions about bargin shopping, which I have a lot to say about, and proceeded to take a million photos! You know how much I love to get my picture taken! Anyways here it is, not exactly the wording I used, but close enough!

Ok guys!

I always get comments that you want to see photos of me, but I am usually the one behind the camera and never get those! So here you are. Photos by my photographer friend Jamie . They are from Thursday evening's dinner at Civetta and the Working Class Magazine launch party!

Moments

You all know, or I assume you do, that I am an avid WNYC and This American Life podcast listener (and I will admit I have made it through the archives as well). This video is from this weeks WNYC podcast series of shorts. It just made me feel good so I thought I would share it.
